SLE Louise Graham

Louise Graham
Caludon Castle School

I am an Assistant Headteacher at Caludon Castle School, currently in my 18th year of teaching History and a number of other Humanities subjects, and my 4th year as an Assistant Head at Caludon. I have taught History, Government and Politics, and Citizenship to A Level. Prior to working in Coventry I have taught at schools in Birmingham, Northants and Dorset, where I have held various curriculum and pastoral leadership roles.

I have completed several leadership qualifications, most recently gaining my NPQSL in May of 2015, focusing on leadership of SMSC and Humanities. I have successfully supported middle leaders from a range of subjects, including some from outside the Humanities field. As a Head of Humanities in an outstanding school for 4 years, I was appointed an SLE History specialist, and was responsible for SMSC when the school achieving outstanding across all areas, including in SMSC.

I have held a number of leadership roles at Caludon Castle School; my current responsibilities include line management of a number of Humanities subjects and PSHE coordinator across the school, which includes the development of the school’s tutor time programme.

I am very much looking forward to continue working as an SLE for the Castle Phoenix Trust.
